The “Restore Devices from Backups” action

The Restore Devices from Backups action will restore each of the connected devices whose ECID is passed as input to this action from their linked backup archive.

Input:ECID Identifiers for the connected devices to restore
Output:ECID Identifiers for the connected devices that were restored
Parameters:

If one or more of the backup archives is password-protected, enter the shared password for the archives in the text entry fields.

Follows:

Erase Devices, Restore Devices

NOTE: the specified devices must be newly erased or updated before restoring from backup.

The Action View

If the status of the checkbox  1  indicates that one or more of the archives are password-protected, enter the password in the text input field  2  and again in the confirmation text input field  3  located to the right of first text filed. Click the “Check” button  4  to confirm that you entered the password correctly.

NOTE: It is assumed that the same password is used for all backups. The provided password will be ignored by those archives that are not-password protected and they will be restored unprotected to their last archived state.
